Translate Chinese manhua pages to English
Upload a manhua page or screenshot. The Chinese text, Simplified or Traditional, is erased and English is lettered back into the same bubbles, so there is nothing to copy or retype. Choose any of 100+ reading languages; English is selected by default.
Long, confidently detected text outside bubbles may still be translated.

How to translate a manhua page
You only choose the language you want to read. The Chinese text is detected from the image itself.
- 01
Upload the page or screenshot
Add one PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 15 MB. Dense hanzi need resolution, so use the sharpest version you have, and split very long vertical strips into screen-height images.
- 02
Pick English and translate
English is selected by default. Sign in, check the 1-credit cost and start. You can choose fonts or translate only the text inside speech bubbles.
- 03
Check names and terms, then save
Compare the result with the original, especially names, titles and genre terms, before you download. Downloads need a purchased credit pack.

What Chinese-to-English manga translation needs
Chinese packs a lot of meaning into few characters, and English usually needs more space, so translated lines may be lettered smaller than the original. Most manhua run text horizontally; older and some Traditional Chinese comics still set dialogue vertically, which is detected too.
Chinese has no spaces between words, so a phrase can occasionally be split in the wrong place, especially in stylised fonts. Written pronouns also mark gender less clearly in speech-like lines, so check who he or she refers to.
Simplified, Traditional and long vertical strips
Both Simplified and Traditional Chinese pages can be uploaded; you do not need to say which one it is. The reading language you choose decides the output, so you can also translate a manhua into Japanese, Korean or another language.
Many manhua are published as long vertical strips like webtoons. Save them one screen at a time for clearer results, or use the Chrome extension to translate the strip images in place on a reading site such as bilibili Comics.
Names, cultivation terms and titles
Cultivation, martial arts and palace stories use terms such as qi, dao, sect ranks and court titles that have several accepted English renderings. The AI picks one per line, and it may translate a term literally where fans expect pinyin, or the other way round.
Each page is translated separately and there is no shared glossary, so a character name or technique can be rendered differently across a chapter. Keep a short list of names and terms and check pages against it.
When another tool fits better
For a quick gist of one screenshot, Google Translate's image mode or a phone camera translator is faster, but it overlays text on the image instead of re-lettering bubbles. Use this page when you want a clean translated page you can read or save.
This tool does not offer a text editor after translation, does not import PDF or EPUB directly, and does not run offline. For more than one page, use the batch translator (up to 20 images) or the CBZ translator (one CBZ or ZIP up to 50 pages).
Manhua translator FAQ
Do I need to copy the Chinese text first?
No. Upload the page image; the Chinese text is detected, translated and lettered back into the bubbles. You never type or paste the dialogue.
Does it work with Traditional Chinese comics?
Yes. Simplified and Traditional Chinese pages are both supported, including vertical dialogue in older or Traditional Chinese comics. You do not need to choose the source script.
How are cultivation terms and names translated?
The AI chooses a rendering line by line, either literal English or pinyin, and pages are translated separately without a shared glossary. Expect some inconsistency across a chapter and check recurring names and terms.
Can I translate manhua into languages other than English?
Yes. Choose from more than 100 reading languages, such as Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Indonesian and Vietnamese. English is only the default.
Is the manhua translator free?
Each page costs 1 credit and failed pages are refunded. Trial credits for new accounts depend on current account settings, and downloading results requires a purchased one-time credit pack. It is not an unlimited free service.
